Welcome!
I was capped, gowned and graduated in 2011 from USC’s School of Cinematic Arts (“Here’s your mortarboard, what’s your hurry?”) with a bachelor of arts in cinema-television production.
My time at USC was divided between film school and my unofficial second major, the Daily Trojan, where I spent many late nights, writing, editing and playing chicken with the expiration dates on lunch meat. (For more on the former two aspects, please see my C.V. and clips.) I graduated with dual passions for journalism and media production.
After college, I worked as a writer, reviewer and editor for Metromix, an arts and entertainment site owned by Gannett and Tribune Co. I’m currently the writing team manager for Mahalo, a tech startup that produces web shows in partnership with YouTube’s budding premiere content program. (TL;DR: Check out some of the videos I write.)
I’ve also been lucky enough to entertain my love of travel and work as a translator in Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Cuba. Other loves: Community, the Baltimore Orioles, the fourth estate.
